Trust Jesus Sighted in Longbeach, WA

We had a wonderful time in Longbeach, WA., on Saturday and Sunday, May 3rd and 4th. Terri was asked to share her testimony of how God delivered her from 25 years as a Mormon and about our Trust Jesus T-shirt ministry with the women of the Peninsula Baptist Church at the annual Ladies Tea. It was quite an event, I was impressed, that they had invited others and had about 200 ladies attending and of course my sweetheart was pleased to outfit all of them with Trust Jesus T-Shirts. In addition, more were given to the men and children on Sunday. I love the fact that the Pastor Chris Garrison (who had a great message) is shown here preaching to his congregation of about 150 church members.

I was impressed by the fact that He was willing to wear the T-shirt as part of his attire.

How did we get the invitation? We had met two of the members on a cruise, Rick and Janice Blake and we were privileged to get to know them better as our brother and sister in the Lord as they generously put us up in their home for the weekend.

I have to share with you a rather humorous story: We were sitting in the congregation when the service started and after the worship singing was completed and the pastor came up to deliver his message. He hesitated and asked my wife, Terri, to come up and briefly share with all the members about she was doing here. She was more than willing and I love it when she starts sharing, she just lights up when she starts talking about her savior. Near the end of her sharing, she mentioned that she thought we should start wearing them around town on each day of the week, you could wear them on Salvation Sunday, and he was so quick and said, YES! and "Magnify His name Monday, Thank Him Tuesday, and Worship Him Wednesday, Trust Him Thursday, Freedom in Christ Friday, Serve Him Saturday and all the while Terri was encouraging him while laughing and shouting Go Pastor Go. It was entirely impromptu and wish I had a video of it. Alot of Fun. This weekend will always be a warm spot in our hearts and memories. Thank you Peninsula Baptist Church!!!
