Hello Terri & Bill!!!
I am in Thailand and it's amazing to be here. God is doing something BIG in me and helping set captives free in this whole nation!!! It's so powerful to watch how sweetly He works. One of my friends saw my shirt and asked me how to get one and I am hoping more than one. WE want to get the word out!!!
I am still living out of suitcase a few more days, so I am not organized yet, so please help. Can you send me your website info again please? My update will be coming soon. Look forward to hearing from you!
Here's a picture of me today Day 8 of 10 in Quarantine on the roof of the Hotel the Lord blessed me with in my new favorite shirt. Please send me how to get more!
I thought I was in the clear. Alaska Airlines checked my bags all the way through to Phuket from our little & convenient friendly Pasco Airport.
SAYING GOOD-BYE There was a small good-bye party, one of the generous elders and the amazing missions director from the largest partner church on our support team. (A shout out to South Hills in Kennewick, WA!!!). My 6:10 AM flight was on time, I had been at the airport by 5 AM and we celebrated the favor God was giving me, as I was so so thankful for an awesome west coast trip that began a little rocky on 12/24, when I spent the first 3 days alone, including Christmas day. Yet, now, it was ending on 1/18/22 full of great times, seeing amazing partners and friends, that I had not connected with in years and making new friends that will last a lifetime!! So it looked like smooth sailing, but I was in for a little surprise... After getting off the puddle hopper at SeaTac International Airport an hour after takeoff, I took the long journey on the trains to the satellite gate for my international flight, arriving 4 hours early. I was so thankful I didn't have to claim my 50 lb bag and go through security again. YES! At least, that's what I thought. The gate attendant, JinHee, was full of vitality, as she asked for all my documents, I gave them to her. Medical Certificate RT-PCR, Not Detected (taken 48 hours ahead on Sunday, and 48 hours was the requirement for Singapore Airlines with transit in Singapore) and my Thailand Pass -- which included, my 10-day alternative quarantine confirmation, the $50,000 COVID insurance policy, and the flight itinerary. Plus I had my single-entry Visa. But that didn't seem to have any authority with her as I saw her smile fade when she asked me for my vaccination certificate, and I said, "I don't have one." She was confused. And so was I. RESTRiCTION DISCOVERED AT THE GATE This was a restricted flight "VTL -- vaccinated travel lane " she called it, as everyone on the flight is vaccinated. I didn't know. I told her I was fully immunized, as I had the antibodies from when I had a version of COVID back in March 2020. "Do you have any other medical certificate?" she was trying to do her job, but I didn't have the certificate she needed. "No," I said, I was healed at home by prayer and taking communion." She was even more confused. She made some calls. I prayed in my heavenly language, while texting 4-5 more prayer warriors, asking for back-up and the LORD gave me peace. She referred me to the manager, Vin-saan. As JinHee was Korean, I found out the manager was from Singapore and he was at the ticket counter. I looked at her through my mask, peaceful but concerned about what had just happened. I told her, when I booked there were no restrictions mentioned. NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE IN THE KINGDOM "He may be able to rebook you on another flight," she said as she smiled, I felt hope rise and the Holy Spirit comforted me. "AnyoKaySayYo, KaamSaameeDaa," I said. She smiled huge, even more than before. Living in Asia, the bits of the languages I know come in handy and the LORD dwells on the praises of His saints. When I arrived at the ticket counter, I had some butterflies, but Holy Spirit showed me Vincent, the man in the suit, just as the one of the attendant asked how she could help me. "I'm waiting to see Vin-saan," I said, pointing at the man in the blue suit. She smiled and nodded, as he was talking to someone else, I waited patiently. When he was ready for me, the other attendant made him aware of me, and as I greeted him in Mandarin, and called him Vin-Saan. "It's Vincent," he said. Oops! But we both smiled. This was going to go well. He explained everything at first about the restriction, and not telling me, until after our long conversation, that the flight had changed last week to VTL. I just looked at him, because that restriction did not come up on my paperwork when I booked.
Tears began to well-up behind my mask. I couldn't stop them. So much work, weeks of preparation for this trip, all the anxiety from the tests, visas, booking and paying for the airline ticket, thousands of dollars had already been spent for the opportunity to continue the call to Thailand to prevent trafficking, to set captives free, and here I was being held captive.
I had already anticipated the honor to be able to be sharing with YOU after arriving in Thailand after I had been in a place of great overcoming this last year... so i kept contending and believing what God said!!!
God had said, "One year." Well that year was up. I knew I was supposed to leave now, yet so much was happening that seemed to discourage me.
So I smiled my best from behind my mask, and I saw a gleam in Vincent's eye. "Let me see what I can do," he said walking back toward the ticket counter. "Let's see what other flights we have...but you'll have to get yourself there."
I continued to pray in my heavenly language quietly, masks sure help for that. At least they don't think I am crazy for talking to myself.
I followed him back to the counter, hope was arising, but I wanted to let Holy Spirit speak to him, so I waited patiently. Turning my back several times, taking the pressure off.
God had this. And I knew it.
So what happened?!?" You ask? Well I made it, a day later than planned, leaving 01/18/22 and finally arriving in Thailand on 01/21/22. And now it's my LAST day, DAY 10 of 10 as my AQ requirements are COMPLETE!
Born for such a time as this! Freedom fighters!

HERE'S one of my messages from the ADVENTURE:
On the flight now!!! It’s going to end up being three days of travel because of some complications yesterday at SeaTac. But God is faithful and gave His FAVOR to His beloved daughter!!! First had to get to LA, next Tokyo, then Singapore, and finally Phuket! So thankful for you and all your encouragement!!! Praise Jesus!!!

"So what happened?!?" You ask? Well I made it, a day later than planned, leaving 01/18/22 and finally arriving in Thailand on 01/21/22. And now it's my LAST day, DAY 10 of 10 as my AQ requirements are COMPLETE!
I will leave my Alternative Quarantine on 01/31/22. The next day February 1, it was announced Jan 20, 2022 that the WHOLE nation changes to a Test & Go strategy and they are still honoring the AQ.
Steps of MORE freedom. AMEN.
Holy Sprit moved Vincent, as he found a flight leaving out of LA the next day. As I updated our prayer warriors, their prayers moved the spiritual realm and Brian from South Hills felt God move them to help with the flight to LA and bless me with a hotel at the airport and he made all the arrangements, while I went and got my 50LB bag!!!
THEN when I arrived at LAX, God has MORE astounding news. I was at dinner sharing the amazing testimony with the man who was running the restaurant at the hotel, and I got a call from another pastor at one of the most powerful churches in Shelton, WA.
Keith, from New Horizons, an apostle transforming culture, asked me if I was sitting down. This made me nervous! But it only lasted for a few seconds, because I knew his heart. God had moved them to give the donation amount we needed to secure our foundation status in Thailand, 200,000 ThaiBaht -- about $6,000!
I was overwhelmed! God has got all of this in His hands. I am so honored to be a part of it. PLUS, I just got off a video call with a certified teacher in The Philippines who wants to start a school there!

NEAR BREAKDOWN IN 2020, REPAIR NEEDED IN 2021
The end of 2020 was the best of times and the worst of times... we saw severe pruning in our ministry, then 2021 was all the pulling back from each other but it proved to be for each to go deep with JESUS and press in for the fullness of His presence to restore us. Not people. Not resources. Not activity. JUST HIS LOVE. Drawn by the Father. Holy Spirit our source.
